Grilling Lobster tails has never been easier. Do something different to impress the friends at a barbeque party. It is really a good time to prepare yourself for the gala outdoor party as summer vacation is knocking at the door. There is no better way than to introduce your friends with a mesmerizing grilled lobster recipe. Grilled lobster is becoming the new trend-setter at barbecue parties. The deliciousness of the recipe will make your friends strive for more. There are various ways to make grilled lobster but the hardest part is to choose the right kind. There are some easy steps for making a dish that will stand out from the rest.
8oz to 10oz lobster tails
4 tablespoons butter
1 garlic clove
Salt and pepper
First Things First
If you buy frozen lobster then start thawing them to room temperature by placing them in plastic bag then submerge them in a warm bowl of water.
Prepare Basting Sauce
Melt the butter in a small dish in the microwave or warm them in a small pan. Use a garlic press to mince the garlic and put them in the butter. Add a tablespoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice and stir.
Halve the Tail
Lay the tails bottom side up on wooden cutting board. Take a large sharp knife and cut the tail in two equal halves. You can even use kitchen scissors to cut the shell. Take out a brush to baste the flesh side of the tails with the butter mixture.
Prep the Grill
Thoroughly clean and oil the grate to prevent sticking. Turn on the grill to medium heat. For charcoal distribute the coal so there can be even heat.
Grilling Lobster Tails
Once the grill is hot, give the lobster tails one last baste. Add salt and pepper and place flesh side down on the hot grill. Be careful of the flare ups from the dripping butter. Cook it for 4-5 minutes until grill marks show. Flip the tails to shell side down. Baste with the butter mixture several times for 3-4 minutes until the lobster meat is firm and opaque.
Tie the lobster bibs, heat some butter and dig in. The secret of the recipe is not on the material but the process of it.
